Tammy Kling believes in giving back to help others be all they can be. She works with abandoned children and has traveled to Romania to build swing sets at orphanages in Brasov and in the United States. Many of the children overseas had never seen a playground before, and this physical plan expanded their life. The royalties from her book, Exit Row, are donated to a children's home. Tammy also supports First Book, a national nonprofit organization with a single mission: to give children from low-income families the opportunity to read and own their first new books. The primary goal of First Book is to work with existing literacy programs to distribute new books to children who, for economic reasons, have little or no access to books. Approximately 35% of Tammy's work is pro-bono to build the Kingdom.
